There are two types of people, the ones who get support from others when they call someone mad
and the ones who get called mad by others when they call someone mad.

A 13 year old boy....

A 13 year old boy, fairly handsome, fairly smart, pretty creative, stands out of the crowd in ways not everyone realizes. He grew up, went to college, and found out of a great way to make money, a way that included his passion and provided him with enough money to satisfy his desires and needs. His way of making money being quite unique allowed him with free time almost whenever he wanted. Side-by-side his love life was becoming successful and did become successful. His creativity truly paid off in having a content life. And in the end, he kept standing out of the crowd , in a way now everyone knew.

Memories

A lucky girl, Ashley got to meet the famous actress, Milly Cryptus. She had won a lucky draw she had signed up for about a month ago. As per the plan, Ashley went to meet her and both of them spent the day together. Of course, Ashley brought her camera to take pictures of this once-in-a-lifetime-chance. She went home smiling like never before. A few months passed after this incident. Ashley's room was full of the pictures she had taken that day with the actress. She went to every concert Milly hosted. She got her room painted Milly's favorite color. That day she spent with Milly was embedded into her memories forever. But that wasn't the case with Milly. Just a week after meeting Ashley, Milly completely forgot about the incident. It was as if she hadn't met anyone at all. Ashley had given a few copies of the pictures she had took to her, but where were those picture just one week later? Buried deep inside a closet full of other things.
Importance given to memories based on incidents depend on how rare the incident may occur and also on how much of a good-named place or person the incident is involving. As Ashley won the lucky draw, the incident that occurred was quite a rare event, and so it found a significant place in her memory. What if Ashley was to win a lucky draw where she would be meeting a football player, in which she had no interest in meeting? It would still become a memory, cause winning a lucky draw isn't something that happens every day, but the memory won't be too significant as compared to meeting Milly. What if Ashley was Milly's sister, someone she would meet everyday? Having one the lucky draw, it won't be of much importance to her and nor will the memory, cause come on.... if you won a lucky draw to meet your sister, I don't think it would be a-once-in-a-lifetime chance to cherish the memory of it!
A "complete day" is what I call a day when I experience something worth reliving.

About love....

Love can be a bad feeling if its only one sided

Double sided love doesn't always happen the first time, but if your lucky it can

Don't get discouraged if you find out its only one sided, keep loving and flirting

Always keep trying, NEVER give up

NEVER loose hope

Do anything ~ that means everything ~ that seems right (perfect) to impress or flirt

Don't change yourself trying to impress or win their love, someone will eventually gain interest in your true-self

Learn from your mistakes

Don't thnk your life is a love story you see in those movies or else you'll go out thinking your some hero/heroin and might ruin something

Don't be too shy

Don't be afraid to talk to them

Don't be afraid to look at them

Don't be afraid of what others will say

And most importantly.... Don't be afraid to love!

Highly Infectious

As the stone age in the prehistoric world had begun, it had begun with more intelligent, human beings, new species of plants and dwelling animals. But as it came, it also brought with it a disease. A disease so powerful, that even to this day, it cannot be controlled quite easily. Many stone age men and women suffered from this highly infectious disease. Hundreds of years later, a group of world renowned scientists started their research on this disease. After weeks of sleepless research, they came out from their laboratories, only to tell the many interviewers present there that this disease is atleast 12 times more infectious then any of the other highly infectious diseases like the influenza. This wide spread disease had to be named, and so it was given the name Psychoneuroimmunology. It was such a terrible spreading disease. It emerged at just the sight of a few jumbled words. But then, came a scientist, determined to find out more about this disease. That scientist, out of determination made an astounding discovery. It turned out that Psychoneuroimmunology was not a disease at all. It was actually a cure for other diseases. It helped people stay happy. Newspapers then started printing out jumbled words in a corner of their front page to provide their readers with Psychoneuroimmunology. It was then that the scientist realized that this so-called disease was in need of an easier-to-say-name, and so he named it "Laughter."

Shivaji In My Heart

It was the start of a new day in new a school. Our bus was headed toward a tall hill beside the road, on which the school sat upon. I was sitting in the window seat at the back of the bus, looking at the scenic view from the hill. The city spread out till some point, and after that, the mountains took over the landscape. As my eyes gazed through the mountains, left to right, I noticed a familiar figure in the distance. It was some sort of a fort. A fort I was sure I had never seen in my life. I looked at it for a while, and then somehow, something in my mind told me that the the name of that fort was Sinhagad. It was just a mere thought, so I didn't really think much of it. Later I got a chance to ask an acquaintance what the name of that fort was. Without further delay, he immediately answered "Sinhagad," which left me shocked. I already knew, any fort with the name 'gad' in it meant that it was the great Shivaji Maharaja who had built it. I later heard of a saying, "शिवाजी महाराज आपुल्या जनतेच्या मनात राहतात," which meant: Shivaji Maharaja lives in the hearts of his people. It may seem just some old saying to many people, but to me, it means something. Because I have experienced the true meaning to this saying, at that first sight I had, when I saw his Majesty's fort, Sinhagad.

Lights

A little boy was playing with a new light switch installed in the house family room. The door was open just a crack and he was twisting the twisty-switch dimming the lights and then gradually brightening them. The lights in the living room outside were on. As he did so he noticed through the door crack that as he dimmed the lights, the lights outside would seem quite bright through the crack. As he brightened them a bit more he observed that the lights were as bright as the lights in the room. And as he brightened them even more, it seemed as if the lights outside were dimming.
When we're faced with certain conditions, how austere the condition seems depends on who you are ~ how bright your lights are, and what the situation is ~ how bright the outside lights are. Seldom, our light is too dull, and the lights outside just seem too bright for us to maneuver with. Every so often, both the lights are of equal intensity, letting us through with not too much struggle. As though many times, our light is so brilliant as compared to the one outside, that getting the work done is easier than a walk in the park.

When you get bored because you don't have much to do, you must assume you have too much free time.

The World Is A Stage

The World is a stage....
Where your position matters,
Where the famous people are on the stage performing there act,
Where common people like you and me are in the seats as an audience,

The World is a stage....
Where some people in the audience are clapping for the people on the stage,
Where some people are standing up, trying to make a change in the act on the stage
Where some people have just started to climb the stairs leading to the stage,

The World is a stage....
Where some people have a great view of whats going on in front of them,
Where there are some which find it hard to see the stage,
Where while others can't even see the heads of the actors,

The World is a stage....
Where some people have comfortable seats,
Where plenty have to share a seat,
Where many others might not have a seat at all.

The World is a stage....
Where the acts in the center of the stage can be seen clearly,
Where some acts being in the corner can't be quite noticed,
Where many acts are being hidden backstage,

The World is a stage....
Where one should aim for his dream chair,
Where at which happiness will await,
Where one should strive to get there.

Insulter's Reputation

All of us have been insulted at least once in our lives. That feeling of humiliation starts to emerge in your mind the moment you hear ill about yourself in front of others.
But how do you know an insult when you hear one? Sometimes when you hear something displeasing about yourself, you don't accept it. At times it hurts you and at times it doesn't. What does the manner in which a negation impacts one depend upon?
The answer to this question lies with the negator ~ who he is and what he has. For instance, a person, with a good name and a higher post than you, comes up to you and starts saying bad things about you. You'll start taking his negation as insults. The more reputed a negator is, the more his negation may hurt. The negator will no longer remain any arbitrary negator but will be labelled as an insulter in the eyes of the one being insulted and his negation as insults.
What about the other insulters ~ the ones who don't have a good name? Why do they're insults hurt? It's, again, because of what ~ rather who ~ is on their side. If a negator has a majority of people on his side, his negations are bound to hurt ~ unless you to have someone at your back.
Consider an incident. A beggar going down the street looked at a man's strange but well dressed attire and started laughing at him, rudely. The man ~ surprised after being subjected to something so random and unexpected ~ just raised an eyebrow and continued walking further as if nothing happened. As the beggar wasn't at all anybody reputed, the man didn't take his act insulting.
A quick statement just to summarize the passage: To what extent a negation hurts one is directly proportional to the reputation of the negator. You can learn from this that it's always wise to be cognizant of the insulter's reputation before you start feeling like an ugly duckling. Who knows?....You might turn out to be a swan after all.
Laxman was one of the many ordinary watchmans in a big mall in Pune. He stood by the door of relatively big shop, keeping shoppers' bags in cubicles. Occasionally he would speak to the people reminding them to hand in there bags. Being able to speak nearly eight languages, he was enabled with an interesting ability. Pune being quite a big city, was inhabited with people from all around India. And so it went without saying that all these people spoke many languages. Laxman, having his ability, was able to recognize which languages each of them spoke just by looking at them, and he would speak to them in their language, surprising them. His ability wasn't of much use to him, but it was surely a great way to stand out from all the other watchmans.

The Power of Negativity

At the approach of the scholarship exams, everyone is studying there hardest, hoping to get a scholarship. Mostly everyone focuses on studies, thinking its the most important. But there is one more crucial ingredient to getting their goal ~ having a positive attitude. You might think the other ingredient might not be THAT important, but believe me it is. I had a friend of mine, who was studying as hard as she could for the scholarship. But she was missing that key ingredient, every once in a while I used to here her say, "I'm never going to get the scholarship!" Well hey ho hi! That's exactly what she got at the end of the road, no scholarship. You might be thinking, maybe she wasn't smart enough, but that's not the case, she was just as smart as I was ~ who on the contrary had a positive attitude and got the scholarship. It's that negativity that kept her back. If she keeps saying that she won't get the scholarship, then she'll start acting as if she won't. If only the whole world knew this.... and believed it.
