Exams in mind; alone I walk,
No soul in sight; no one to talk,
Befell upon me bliss, indeed,
'Twas heaven aye, my stress it freed.
A long and empty road infront,
Serene it seemed. I wasn't as blunt
As was before on prior days,
Exceeded mirth, though on today's.
By shadows o'trees was striped the road,
That climb'd a bit. I slowly strode
To see the path approach a hole,
Across which cars and buses roll'd.
The hole was made of limbs of trees,
Behind which rose a buildin'. One sees
And sees ~ from whither towers it?
From yonder grows! post thinkin' a bit.
And all along the birds did sing,
T'the afternoon a verve did bring.
The trees just stood there holdin' the sky;
Beside the road there, they did lie.
Accompanied with apts and homes,
In harmony they stood as gnomes
Amongst the florae in a truce
And far from din, were all recluse.
A joy in mind; alone I walk,
A play in sight; no one to talk,
Befell upon me bliss, indeed,
'Twas heaven aye, my stress it freed!
