Learning Things

Ages ago man found it interesting to learn things,
As his curiosity enabled knowledge,
He learned a lot, up to his brain's edge.

Centuries ago man found the need to teach basic things,
To those who were young and yet immature,
To make a life easier for them,
It's why going to school, became a nature.

Years ago man found the absolute need to learn many things,
Taking up the first 20 years of the young in doing so,
He started counting knowledge in 'marks' and 'grades,'
It's how the education system today teaches the many things.

Unique Smile

Our car stopped at a signal light on the road. An old man beside our car was begging for money. I couldn't say he was a beggar, he was one of those who served God as well as begged for money. They used to be the most respected class in ancient times, but somewhere along the line money came to be invented and it overthrew such poor people, forcing them to beg. He came by our car. We had some loose change in our car. Without asking anyone, my little brother who's not even six, stretched his hand to give the few coins but being small, his hand didn't reach out of the window. He tried harder to 'stretch' his hand out until he finally managed to give him the change. The old man took the change and bringing it near his forehead thanked God for the token. The old man resembled a smile like no other, seeing such a small boy offering a big hand of help.... a smile I'll never forget.

A Dream Gone Wrong

"Hey you! Yes you! Get up!!!! Get up and jump off that cliff!" the teacher said to me pointing to the bottomless cliff below. I gulped as I hesitated to get to my feet.
"You dumb ass! Oh what am I thinking? How can I ever expect an ass like you to do such hard homework? Now just get up and jump!" the insane person, who was now a monster, screamed at the top of her lungs (if it even had lungs).
I slowly started to walk towards the edge of the cliff, which was this scary purple in color. I took one look into the pit, surely it was bottomless. I glanced at the teacher once again, to check for any signs of mercy, but I remembered a rumor I had heard from a classmate saying teachers are trained not to show mercy on anyone who disobeys rules. I took one last look at the class bench I was sitting on, which was now almost invisible, and took a step into the bottomless cliff.
Thump! I landed face down on the floor. It turns out that the cliff turned into my bed.
It just really bothers me when the same old grouchy teacher from a movie somehow manages to get into my dream.
A big sorry to any teachers, who might be reading this. But, a dream is something you sadly can't control, especially if it ends up landing face down.

Caged Birds

Anger is like birds in a cage. You can't keep them locked up in a cage for later. They just have to be released. And even if they are kept inside, their urge to come out becomes stronger and stronger until they just burst open the cage hurting themselves, causing destruction to the cage and the ones around.

If you double the vowel in the word 'God' it becomes 'Good' ~ one of the many unseen things when it comes to the miracles of God.

Bananas

One is judged by one's good or bad qualities, depending on how many good ones one may have, and also the bad ones. It may be common sense that a person with more good qualities would be a better person to be with. In order to be such good company, the person needs one chance to show his good qualities. But what if he isn't judged by his good qualities, but by his bad ones? It's what some and many people do, even if he or she has more good qualities than bad, they just get labelled by their few bad ones. If you take a banana, and it turns out that it has a black spot on it, you'd probably refuse to eat it. But look at the black spot, its tiny compared to the whole yellow banana. It's what happens when someone is judged, they see the other's bad quality ~ the black spot ~ and just judge them off without even looking at the good stuff ~ the yellow. Not quite fair is it?, for us people and the poor uneaten banana.
How you react to a situation depends on how seriously you take it.

Even if you judge yourself by your present, others may behave with you judging your past.
If a fish isn't taught how to swim, it will keep thinking it is bad at it.

He is The One....

He is the one who is the creator of all.
Yet He is the one who inhabits the power to destroy all.
He is the one who exhibits optimism.
Through many religions we see him, causing racism.
He is the one who is the symbol of hope.
He is the one whom with we will always cope.
He is the one whom without is a world we don't know.
For He is the Almighty one who makes us feel good, better and so,
The Immortal God, To thee we shalt forever bow low.

Unexplained

Man ~ the curious animal ~ has been finding the explanation of everything since his very existence. He has explained what lies beneath his very own feet, he has explained what those twinkling dots in the sky are, he has even found and explained about life before birth. But there are somethings he just failed to explain, he tried hard and harder to find the answer, but he just couldn't. So to keep himself satisfied he just had to do something. He came up with a solution, without having to find some more, he associated those particular unexplainable things with the Almighty King of All Unexplained Things, God. For God was also, one of the many unexplained things.

Having pride isn't hard, managing it may be, one should always know the appropriate timing to exhibit one's pride and one should also know the appropriate timing to conceal it.

First Teacher

The first man was quite an uneducated fellow. There was no concept of school, due to which there were no teachers to learn from. As a result, man was but acquainted with knowledge. He went on wandering, but with no knowledge, that mustn't have been much fun. How did he learn? How did he evolve? The Almighty God had already been ready with a solution. He had arranged for the greatest teacher of all. Man then started learning from that teacher. He learned many things from that teacher. He then thought, why don't I teach the others what I have learned from my teacher? This thought didn't remain one for long, he then started teaching others what he had grasped, becoming a teacher himself. Many others learned from him, and became educated, so that they could have better lives than he did. While many followed what he taught, there were some who challenged what they heard. They went out to prove, that what man was teaching was wrong, but to no avail. They were finally taught, taught by the first teacher God had sent. To this day, many are taught by the first teacher, but from there it is their choice to grasp what she has said through her ever clear words, or to let it go unsaid. This teacher is immortal, and will stay that way for as long time may ripple in its stream. The name of this teacher is Experience.

Windows

Whenever you meet a person, you can never be too sure about what kind of a person the other guy could be. It's as if his first impression on you is what you see of the other person through a window. Whenever I look through my front window, what do I see? I see the door and the two windows of the house in front of me. But When I go outside and look, I can see the whole house. If I was to describe what I was seeing through the window, I would only be describing a part of the scene ~ the door and two windows. But if I was to go outside or look through a bigger window, I would be able perceive more and therefore describe more. That's exactly what happens, when you go out describing someone, you describe what you see through the 'window' around the person and that's also the case when another says something about you, what he describes is his what he sees of you through the window around you, so its pretty likely he might be missing something from view. I guess that's why they say its always best to not pay much attention to what others think of you, cause after all, you know your house better than your neighbors can see it from their window.

Finding out a way to make money without doing any work as hopeless as finding out a way to grow a tree without planting the seed first.
