Expect Less, Get More

The excitement before going to a trip is quite a unique excitement. Just 2 days later, you'll be in a foreign area, away from home, touring around. When it comes to excitement, expectations come too. Going to Paris? You might be expecting to see the Eiffel Tower, from your suite window. But then you get there and get a room without any view. It'll most probably disappoint you, won't it? A disappointment is what happens when you get less then what you had expected. It might have happened to you when you order a pizza on the phone, but when he brings it to your doorstep, the pizza guy leaves you wondering if this was what you really ordered. Yet another disappointment dealt with. After I had expected too much from a trip, I came back home not too pleased with my vacation. So I assured myself next time I won't expect anything great from a trip, so I'd end up surprising myself. And that's exactly what happened. I came back surprised with a mind full of great memories! It's what any experience would tell you, Expect less, Get more.
The true value of a person is only realized in his absence.
माणसाचे खरे गुण त्याच्या गैरहजेरीतूनच दिसून येतात.
*a friend and me separated*
Some people keep some time aside for keeping up with their hobbies, and study the other times.
Some others keep some time aside for their studies and keep up with their hobbies when they aren't studying.... I wonder which one is more affective.

That moment when the grouchiest person you know, smiles.

The Creature that did it all....

There was once a time when homes came without keys,
You didn't have to worry, about who would steal your bike,
There were no security guards who demanded fees,
Cause there was no thief, ~ a fact to everyone's like,

But an unfortunate day just had to come,
Of which no one remembers ~ smart or dumb,
When Pandora's box was opened some say,
Which let out that hidden creature, waiting for his prey,

The creature that did it all they say,
He was the one who downed the economy even may,
It was because of him we had to invent a lock,
Not just for doors, but even a cage for a hawk,

It was because of him we have to spend more money,
To keep that creature from our prized money,
He was the cause of the founding of many insurance companies,
Yet he was also the cause of the downfalls of many more companies,

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
It was because of him, he had a great fall,
Who was this creature? What was his name?
What did he have that even worried the main?

The thief  he was, the thief that did it all
The-first-thief-ever was his name
He wasn't advertised, nor did he have any fame,
But it was because of him the world came to a fall.
The flip side of a beautiful mountain often as a harsh desert behind it.

Life is a Highway

Life is a Highway,
Where the road you've already passed is your past
Where the road you're on right now is your present,
Where the road you are yet to travel on is your future,

Life is a highway,
Where some roads are pretty straight and easy to drive through,
Where many others may have a few turns,
Where there are plenty with sudden sharp curves,

Life is a highway,
Where many roads are as smooth as tiles,
Where some roads may have a few potholes here and there,
Where there are still some which don't even have pavement,

Life is a highway,
Where you can annoy the person in front of you by sounding your horn,
Where you can go with the other traffic and follow the rules,
Where you can pay for the car behind you at the toll station as a good deed,

Life is a highway,
Where the road never seems to end,
Where your destination could be miles away,
Where getting there could be one long drive,

Life is a highway,

Where while getting to your destination, you could focus on reaching there,
Where instead you could enjoy the view along the way,
Where cause if you do, your destination will reach you, before you reach it.

Peanuts

Going to work is like eating peanuts. To get the nut inside, you first have to take the shell off ~ just like at work ~ you work to get the money. But then it comes to how you spend the peanuts. Some people eat the peanut inside just after they've opened the shell. Some others like to take all the shells off and then eat all the peanuts at once. And then there are some who don't even like peanuts or can't eat them, which ends this paragraph for them.
Some people (what I mean to say is many people) take the shell off just to get to what they like, the peanut. But rarely you might just find someone, who likes taking the shell off more than they like the peanut (but cause the peanut's inside they still have to accept eating them). Rarely still, you might, just might come across a volunteer, who'd take the shell off for others, not even thinking about the peanut inside. It can be hard, being the last guy I just mentioned, after all its not that easy refusing a stack of money.
*eating peanuts*
At the mall, if it looks great its probably too costly for you to buy.
Some people get disgusted by others, some avoid such people, but there are some others like Amir Khan who would share their pity, that's what makes them different from many.
There are two types of people who are different....
The ones who try to be different,  and
The ones who are different in a natural way.
You can look at a 2-day travel in a train in two ways....
You're paying so much just to get somewhere, that too, take 2 days
or You're getting a free one night stay while you pay for the train.
....The choice is yours.
Living life is like being behind a glass, everyone can see what you do, they may think you're a great person or they may think you're a nut-head. Getting to hear about what others think of you in such cases may not be to pleasing, which may lead to unfavored consequences. The Solution? Live life imagining the glass you're behind.... is a tinted glass, with you on the tinted side. That way no one would be able to see you behind that tinted glass, and ultimately would stop those unwanted thoughts of what others think. What others think about you isn't your business. Even if you get to know what someone wrongly thinks about you, just don't care much about what it is.

The most boring moments seem as if they were way long back, while the most exciting moments seem as if they've just happened.
*recalling memories on the way back from Manali*
That moment when you find a long lost toy which brings back childhood memories.
*in the car going through the Himalayas*
Going through the Himalayas, our destination was atleast 150 kilometers away. Everyone in the car was eager to get there. Everyone except me, cause I was the only one enjoying the view. It made me realize that in life, no matter how much you have to work to get to your goal, as long as you enjoy it as you do, your goal will walk right up to.
