The idol I met on the road that day,
Back from the academy I was on my way.
When a personage on his bike offered me a ride,
To the stranger, till my house, I was to guide.
I failed not to recognize his kindness,
The presence of evil, I found its absence.
Though availed to the option, refuse did I,
Cause I yearned to walk home, or was perhaps too shy.
'Twas only after reaching home, I realized on his face,
The Lord, giving me a hand; such was his grace.
