Bridges and Gaps

Every time you meet a new person, there stays a gap between you two, a gap of differences. But as the both of you get to know each other better, you might also find similarities that both of you share, which reduces the gap inch-by-inch. It goes on reducing until it reaches its minimum. It is from there the bridge of trust takes over and bridges even the biggest gap or the smallest gap. This bridge is very strong, yet can fall at the weakness of a loose screw. Once fallen, though rebuilt, it can never be the same again. But once you've replenished that gap, you and your partner are bound to have a successful relationship. Whenever I come across an acquaintance, I always try to reduce this gap, and if that seems like getting a man on mars, I just start building that bridge.
